Position Details
Commitment: 2-3 days per week
Shifts:
Weekdays: 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Locations: Chatswood or Alexandria Facility
Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Coaching
Conduct performance analysis & testing to track athlete progress.
Program and modify training plans for performance athletes.
Coach group sessions for both rehabilitation and performance-focused athletes.
Work collaboratively with the Lead S&C Coach and Physio Assistants to deliver comprehensive training solutions.
Administration & Operations
Ensure all athlete programming is prepared before sessions.
Maintain a clean and professional training environment.
Assist in developing training programs for performance athletes.
Handle in-person inquiries and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Who We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise or Sports Science.
1-2 years of experience in strength & conditioning coaching.
Strong understanding of training principles for performance & injury prevention.
Experience working with athletic populations.
Reliable, passionate, and trustworthy team player.
Strong communication skills - ability to engage with athletes, parents, and colleagues effectively.
Knowledge or interest in basketball and professional sports.
Desirable Qualifications (Bonus Points!):
Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree or ASCA Level 2 certification.
Previous experience in basketball - either as a player or through work experience.
