Located on the beautiful Le Fevre Peninsula at North Haven, in metropolitan Adelaide, the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia (CYCSA) has over 1200 members. The Club caters to a diverse range of sporting and social interests with a myriad of activities, including yacht racing, powerboating, fishing and cruising, making it a premium hub for maritime activity. Offering world-class facilities, competitive racing programs and a vibrant social calendar, the Club is proud of a rich history and commitment to providing an exceptional experience for members and visitors alike.

As a member-owned, community-driven organisation, CYCSA is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and manage all aspects of Club operations, including staffing, premises, slipway, berth sales and leasing, entertainment, hospitality, the Marine Academy and an extensive sailing program.

Reporting directly to the Board, you will drive and deliver strategic direction, oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the highest level of service for members, while further enhancing world-class facilities and reputation. You will work closely with staff, members, sponsors, community stakeholders and the Board to shape the Club’s future, developing and executing strategic plans that align with the Club’s vision, ensuring continued growth and sustainability. Managing budgeting, financial planning, asset management and resource allocation to ensure the Club’s ongoing financial health will be key.

With a focus on member engagement, satisfaction and operational excellence across all areas including significant award-winning food & beverage outlets, you will be a highly visible leader of a team of 21 permanent staff to foster an exceptional member experience through excellent customer service.

A seasoned General Manager with significant hospitality expertise, you will bring a proven track record of leading a member-centric sporting organisation.  CYCSA is prominent in all forms of yachting in South Australia, including racing, cruising and fishing; an interest in the sector is expected.
