Hoops Capital is focused on the development of basketball as a community sport, in addition to providing an avenue for youth player development, multi-tiered competitions, and coaching through to an elite level. About the Role
Hoops Capital has recently undergone a significant business restructure. As a part of that restructure the Commercial team has experienced growth and new opportunities, leading to an opening for a newly created role, being the Senior Manager - Commercial Partnerships. The restructure has paved the way for this position to provide a greater focus on the depth of the partnerships formed between Hoops Capital and their corporate sponsors and partners, and to celebrate the mutual benefits that flow from deep well serviced relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Client Briefs: Take and receive client briefs, translating them into actionable plans that align with our strategic goals.
Creative Input: Provide creative input for innovative sponsor activations and content production, ensuring engagement and effectiveness.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement partnership strategies that drive value for the organisation and our partners.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless and impactful partnership experiences.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of partnership activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: Proven experience in account management within the sports or related industry, or experience on the agency side performing a similar role.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
Education: Tertiary qualification in sports management, sports administration, media/comms, or a similar discipline is highly regarded.
