The Rugby Manager will report to the GCDRU Board to establish and implement a broad and dynamic agenda. This will include duties involved in the ongoing operational management of the district club rugby competitions for mens, juniors, ladies as well as assist with schools rugby programs and the district’s Cyclones representative programs. The role will extend to providing strategic leadership to identify and capitalise on new growth prospects.

The Rugby Manager will work closely with key stakeholders across the region including the Queensland Rugby Union, local Club Presidents, Coaches and other stakeholders to provide targeted support and assistance that contributes towards delivering outcomes that achieve the best interests of all concerned. The role does involve weekend work with the clubs and teams in season and this will be balanced with annual and time in lieu out of season.

The role is to work from home predominantly and as such provides the successful candidate with great flexibility and work / life balance.
