Classification Coordinator
This role supports the Team by providing essential administrative and operational assistance with the planning, implementation, efficiency and effectiveness of various initiatives across the Classification Program, ensuring smooth execution of classification initiatives.
The ideal candidates will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, the ability to listen, synthesis and work collaboratively with teams across large volumes of information and has an orientation to supporting others - closing date 31 March 2025
Classification Specialist - Visual Impairment (VI)
This role leads the National Classification Program for vision impairment (VI), working closely with the PA Classification Team, NSOs & key partners to ensure accessibility for individuals who are blind or have low vision.
The ideal candidate will have understanding and experience of Classification, particularly with vision impairment, experience working with blind & low vision communities, including strong organisational and collaboration skills, and a strong attention to detail - closing date 31 March 2025
Classification Specialist - Classifier Support
In partnership with NSOs, this role leads initiatives related to the recruitment, training, certification, engagement and development of the Australian volunteer Classifier workforce. It focuses on building a highly skilled, connected, respected and engaged Classifier workforce enhancing the Classification process and athlete experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in workforce development, training, and certification, aligned or within a volunteer workforce environment. They could also be supported by skills in curriculum design, workforce planning, professional development and/or volunteer engagement and recognition - closing date 31 March 2025
Classification Specialist - NSO Support
This role is responsible for working with a portfolio of NSOs to coordinate the delivery of sport-specific classification programs in collaboration with PA, the NIN and relevant State and Territory Member Associations.
The ideal candidate will be a critically thinking, process driven collaborator who thrives in supporting teams and groups of people in performing and achieving their goals. As an enabler across multiple subject areas, they may even have an understanding or lived experience of Para-sport, Classification or the Australian sport system with confidence in process implementation, volunteer management, and/or event delivery - closing date 31 March 2025
Classification Specialist - Digital Solutions
This role leads the implementation of innovative digital solutions aimed at streamlining Classification processes, improving operational efficiencies, managing Classification data, and enhancing the overall Classification experience for athletes and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital solutions and data management. They possess excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to understand digital and data needs and translate requirements into functional solutions - closing date 31 March 2025
