Cheltenham Swim Club provides for both recreational and competitive swimmers of all ages, typically from 8 years through to National & International level. Whilst our club is one of the fastest growing in Victoria it continues to be amongst the most competitive clubs for its size. CSC swimmers regularly represent the club at the Australian Age Championships, Australian Olympic Trials and the National Open Water Championships. To maintain such a competitive club we aim to ensure our coaching staff are amongst the best in Australia. At CSC our swimmers have access to two training venues, an 8 lane 50 metre pool at Waves Leisure Centre in Highett and an 8 lane 50m pool at Noble Park Aquatic Centre (NPAC). Our gym program is based at the state of the art NPAC gym where we further develop our National level swimmers via a strength and conditioning program overseen by a Strength and Conditioning coach.
With a primary focus on coaching the high performance squad at NPAC, you will also oversee the training and competition programs of all other squads. Providing a complete development pathway for all swimmers from stroke development to high performance, you will lead a positive and inclusive culture at all levels. Reporting to the President, and working in consultation with other coaches, you will design and action training programs and be familiar with the organisational requirements of competitions.
Position: Full time
Salary: $135k + super
Expenses covered: Travel and accommodation for competitions, camps etc.
Level required: Extensive experience at swimming’s highest level.
Interstate applicants: Encouraged to apply and support will be given for relocation.

- Willingness to work early mornings, afternoons and some weekends
- SWIM Australia Foundation Coach Accreditation
- Working with Children Card
- National Police Clearance
- High performance swimming background
- High Performance Swim Coaching experience
