About the role
We are looking for a Business Operations and Inclusion Lead to join our participation team at Tennis ACT on a permanent, part-time basis.
The Business Operations and Inclusion Lead will oversee the daily operations of Tennis ACT and drive the implementation of inclusion and diversity initiatives both within the organisation and across the region. In this role, you will:
- Manage Tennis ACT's business operations, including stock management, invoicing, budgeting, and grants acquittal
- Facilitate staff induction and training, ensuring new hires are fully equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge for success
- Drive system and process improvements, optimising tools like Workday and Airtable, while maintaining up-to-date accounts and efficient operations
- Develop and implement Tennis ACT's Inclusion & Diversity strategy, aligned with Tennis Australia's national initiatives
- Lead and implement I&D programs in the ACT, building strong partnerships with local I&D groups and supporting clubs and coaches to foster a positive and inclusive environment.
- Promote employee wellbeing by developing and implementing annual wellbeing programs for the Tennis ACT team, leveraging Tennis Australia's wellbeing and recognition initiatives
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Knowledge in diversity, equity, and inclusion in sport, with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Strong organisational and process development skills, with proficiency in all Office suite applications and quick learning of new systems (e.g., Workday)
- A detail-oriented, resilient, and solution-focused approach to challenges
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Preparedness to be flexible regarding working hours and arrangements relating to work and travel associated with Tennis ACT
