About Sydney FC Foundation:

The Sydney FC Foundation is dedicated to making a positive impact in our community by supporting grassroots initiatives, promoting social inclusion, and encouraging active engagement. This is achieved through football for people with disabilities in our Sydney FC Empowers Me program and young females to alleviate the dropout rate from organised sport through our Sky’s Her Limit programs. Position Overview:

The Sydney FC Foundation is excited to offer an internship opportunity for the Sydney FC Foundation. This role will provide hands-on experience in a supportive, inclusive environment where you can contribute to meaningful community-focused projects. You will gain insight into the operations of a leading football club foundation, while helping to support and enhance our programs that benefit the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with community outreach initiatives and engagement for Sydney FC Empowers Me and Sky’s Her Limit programs.
• Support event coordination and logistics for Sydney FC Foundation activities.
• Help develop and share content for our social media platforms, promoting inclusion and participation.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute new ideas for inclusive community programs.
• Attend and contribute to internal meetings and discussions, offering a unique perspective.
• Provide administrative support and additional ad hoc tasks, where necessary

Key Requirements:

• Ideally someone with an interest in football, sports, community development, or social inclusion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative in tasks.
• Enthusiasm for supporting others and contributing to meaningful community change.
• Flexibility and adaptability to different work styles and tasks.
