The Eltham Wildcats Basketball Club (the Wildcats) are looking for experienced and motivated candidates to take on the role of Member Support Coordinator.  

The role involves being the primary point of contact for enquiries coming into the club via e-mail, telephone and in person. This position also supports the broader office staff on a range of matters, which will be varied depending on the time of the year.

This position reports directly to the Commercial Operations Manager.

Main Duties

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Managing all elements of the front office, including telephone, e-mail and in person queries
  • Providing support to other office staff as necessary
  • Providing support for projects as required
  • Administration functions as required
  • Coordination of keys for training venues

Skills

The position includes a variety of tasks and requires the following skills:

  • Professional approach to communicating with members and staff
  • Problem solving skills
  • High level of detail and strong planning skills
  • The ability to work with a range of people and accept direction
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision

Work hours:

Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm, however, we are open to flexible hours over the 5 days for the right candidate.

About the Wildcats

The Wildcats are one of the largest junior sporting clubs in Australia with approximately 5,000 active playersThe Wildcats operate under a unique structure, functioning both as an overarching Association as well as a domestic club in the largest junior domestic competition in Australia - the EDJBA. Including this position the Wildcats office operates with a small team. The Wildcats also have a variety of casual, honorarium and volunteer positions which contribute heavily to support day-to-day operations.

Essential Requirements

  • National Police / Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Drivers Licence
