Description

As part of an energetic team, work with our Secondary School Sports Program through AFL coaching. Coaches should be available for Tuesday and Thursday training in Sydney CBD, and Saturday games. Training has commenced for May to August season.

Who will the successful applicants be?

  • You will bring specialist knowledge and experience as well as a passion and enthusiasm to coach and mentor in a school sport environment.
  • You will have experience coaching AFL, ideally with youth athletes.
  • You will welcome development of your coaching capability through obtaining further accreditation and/or through guidance from senior coaching staff.
  • You will model the St Andrew’s Cathedral School values and behaviours and uphold the Independent Sporting Association Code of Conduct
  • You must have a current Working with Children Check for paid employment.
  • You will have Level 1 First Aid accreditation (HLTAID011) or be prepared to obtain this.
  • Coaching accreditation and/or prior experience coaching in a school setting is an advantage, but not essential.
