Are you passionate about growing participation in gymnastics and supporting clubs to develop their recreational programs? Gymnastics Queensland (GQ) is seeking a Recreational Gymnastics Coordinator to drive participation initiatives, support club development, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

About the Role

As the Recreational Gymnastics Coordinator, you will play a key role in increasing participation in recreational gymnastics (up to Level 3) across GQ member clubs. Your focus will be on developing and implementing strategies to support clubs, enhance coaching opportunities, and promote professional development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to grow recreational gymnastics programs across member clubs.
• Conduct club visits to assess needs, challenges, and opportunities for growth, offering tailored support.
• Assist clubs in implementing the Coach Club Educator role to develop the coaching workforce.
• Promote and coordinate GQ workshops, professional development sessions, and Gymnastics for All (GfA) initiatives.
• Organise and deliver pre-level events to increase participation opportunities for recreational athletes.
• Help clubs engage with schools to create pathways for new members.
• Build strong relationships with Gymnastics Australia, clubs, coaches, and key stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in delivering and growing successful gymnastics recreational programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with clubs, coaches, and volunteers.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• A proactive and motivated approach to supporting club development.
• Gymnastics coaching accreditations (desirable).
• A current Blue Card/Working with Children Check (essential).
• A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence and access to personal transport.
