About Gridiron NSW: Gridiron NSW (GNSW) is seeking a dedicated and organised Part-Time Administrator to support our growing organisation, specifically in the areas of tackle league operations and governance. This role will contribute to the eUicient administration of our American Football Leagues and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Role Overview: The Part-Time Administrator will provide crucial administrative support across two primary areas: governance and compliance, and tackle league and competition management. This position requires a professional who can effectively manage multiple tasks and ensure adherence to organisational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance & Compliance Support:

  • Prepare and distribute minutes for board and committee meetings, and track action items.
  • Manage policy updates and ensure compliance with national and state governance requirements.
  • Oversee mandatory reporting obligations to maintain governance standards.

League & Competition Management:

  • Manage participant registrations and maintain accurate records for Tackle Football Leagues.
  • Assist in the coordination of events, including State Representative League Trial Days.
  • Manage inbound inquiries and correspondence related to league operations.

Operational & Financial Administration:

  • Prepare and distribute reports on tackle league operations and compliance.
  • Manage accounts, including invoice processing.
  • Handle correspondence with clubs and members, including managing infringement processes.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in sports administration, governance, or event coordination
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience managing accounts receivable and payable, with a basic understanding of financial processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Familiarity with registration systems and competition management software (or a willingness to learn)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of American Football (preferred)
