The Canberra Raiders Digital & Social Media Producer is a position within the Raiders Communications & Marketing Team, tasked with assisting in producing and delivering content for the Raiders digital channels and club marketing activities.
Content production includes social media, video, photography and writing.
This position reports to the club’s Head of Communications & Marketing and/or Chief Operating Officer.
Qualifications/Experience/Abilities:
Tertiary qualifications in a related field are essential.
Experience in Digital Media Production or similar role preferred
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite of Products
Proficient in Adobe Suite products
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to use initiative and solve problems within a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both within a team and independently.
Confident, enthusiastic, and professionally presented.
Adaptability - desire and openness to learning.
Main Responsibilities
Assisting in creation and activation of content of clubs’ online digital and social media channels and club marketing initiatives.
Social Media
Assisting in delivering the club’s content schedule including;
Assisting the Digital Manager and broader team in developing new ideas and initiatives across the clubs’ social media channels to drive engagement and following.
Production of content for clubs’ social media channels across all facets of the business (Football, Commercial, Membership, Community etc)
Monitoring club social media accounts. This includes regular communication with fans and developing relationships with Canberra Raiders supporters.
Assisting to measure club social media performance
Website
Production of content for club website across all facets of the business (Football, Commercial, Membership, Community etc)
Assisting to measure club website performance
Assist with club photography and video capture.
Other
Traveling with NRL and NRLW team when required for away fixtures
Assisting with external media requests as required
Assisting with the club Media Intern program
Ability and desire to assist other Departments in time of need if/when time permits.
Assisting with CRRL Media and Initiatives where time permits or as required.
