We deliver first-class activity and program choice, we promote Blacktown City as the leader in sport, recreation and leisure and we give every visitor and customer a safe and memorable experience. Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope is an award-winning multi-purpose facility that offers high-quality programs and services. It includes an indoor aquatic centre with a 25 metre 10 lane lap pool, a wave pool, a program pool, a 4 court stadium, and a 16 plexi-cushion courts, as well as a health and fitness centre, crèche, and function room facilities.
We are looking for customer focused and bubbly individuals who have a passion for membership services, health and fitness sales to join our Key Venues team as Casual Lifestyle Advisors.
Position purpose:
The role includes:
- providing excellent customer service to current, and prospective members at Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope
attending to all customers of the centre regarding membership services and to all incoming membership services telephone calls - conducting tours of the centre for visitors or new members in accordance with sales system procedures and protocols
- conducting follow-up telephone calls, and emails on all membership service enquiries.

Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Experience in a sales program within a similar environment
- Experience in the development and implementation of sales, membership services, members events and loyalty programs
- Experience in computers and database management
- Experience working both within a team environment and as a ‘self-starter’.
- Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this role starts at $30.4424 per hour plus 25% casual loading
- Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts
- Casual hours
- Trainee rates apply for applicants under 19 years of age
