Description
This course will deliver the skills and knowledge required to identify the needs of participants with a disability, assist them to safely enter and exit the water and to provide appropriate support during aquatic activities.
This course is suitable for those Swim Teachers conducting learn-to-swim and water familiarisation classes in swimming pools or confined natural shallow water venues. All training delivered is in accordance to relevant legislation, public health regulatory requirements and organisational policies and procedures.
This course is an extension course for Swim Teachers looking to gain specialist knowledge in teaching participants with a disability.

- Hold a current SISSS00112 Swimming and Water Safety Teacher
