The Junior Competition Squad Coach of the SOPAC Performance Centre will lead the daily and seasonal coaching programs for the Junior Competition Squad in consultation with the technical direction set by the SOPAC Head Coach. It is essential that the Junior Competition Squad Coach understand their role within the wider Performance Centre program to prepare and develop swimmers to progress along the centre’s performance pathway.

The role will be mentored and supported by the SOPAC Performance Centre Head Coach, National Age Coach and State Age Coach.

The Junior Competition Squad Coach will assist the SOPAC Performance Centre Coaches to monitor the progression of swimmers through the squad program and work with SOPAC’s Learn to Swim program to identify talented swimmers and encourage participation in the squad program.

We are seeking a committed coach that has experience in contributing to a successful club program and supporting the progression of athletes throughout various stages of the pathway.
