Description
This course describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR in a range of situations‚ include community and workplace settings.
Delivery Modes: This delivery mode allows the candidate to cover the topics and assessments of a CPR course in an online course and then attend a face to face practical assessment. Candidates complete their online learning prior to attending the CPR course.
Access to online learning will be provided via email upon booking. Online learning must be completed prior to attending the assessment.
Outcomes
This course requires practical application of Resuscitation and other practical scenarios that will require kneeling on the floor. In order to achieve a Statement of Attainment, candidates must successfully complete the practical components under the award conditions. Click here to view the practical assessment overview.
