Trinity Grammar School is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior AFL Coach to join our team in Term 1, 2025.

In this role, you will lead and coach the 1sts team, working closely with the Coordinator of AFL. As a Senior Coach, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and extending the learning experience for students within the AFL program and sharing your coaching expertise with the broader AFL coaching team, where it is hoped that the successful applicant will work across a number of reams, training in the afternoons during the week.

Training for the 1sts team is held on Tuesday and Thursday, with games played on Saturdays. Please note, availability and commitment for the season is required.

What's involved...

• Deliver coaching sessions and facilitate the skill development of students.
• Assist in the planning and preparation for the team for competition.
• Attend all program activities including coaching meetings, training sessions and games.
• Provide reports on student performance and game results.

We are looking for...

• Strong coaching experience and solid AFL knowledge and understanding.
• Minimum of AFL Level 1 Coaching Accreditation.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams within a school environment, with students across varying age groups and skill level.
• Ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner and a professional approach to work – punctual for all coaching sessions and meetings.

• Compliance requirements needed before commencement: NSW Working with Children number (Employment Status), First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009), PBTR - Child Protection module certificate and valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a COVID-19 vaccine medical contraindication exemption.
