St Monica's College, Epping Sports Department is seeking a suitably qualified Volleyball Coach to assist in the delivery of this program. This casual position (up to 20hrs per week) reports to the Head of Volleyball and is responsible for coaching a selection of  teams within the College’s growing Volleyball program.

Main Duties

• Assist the Head of Volleyball in the day to day operational management of the Volleyball program, including coaching teams and development of training programs
• Assist in the coaching and development of a High Performance training program within the College’s elite pathway offering, the Athlete Development Program
• Form key partnerships with community and State level programs to provide pathway opportunities for students
• Assist in the coordination of any domestic tour arrangement for Volleyball teams
• Coach a selection of Volleyball teams at a variety of year levels and attend training pre-or post-school hours
• General assistance across the College’s vast co-curricular sport program.

About You

• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in high performance or sport development roles
• Minimum Volleyball Australia Level 1 Coach qualification
• Experience coaching Volleyball in a College environment (desired)
• Relevant experience and/or tertiary qualifications in sports related fields 
• Strong and effective leadership skills.
• Outstanding organisational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work to a defined budget.
