POSITION SUMMARY
This role is on the cold face of our customer relationship management (CRM) system and is responsible for delivering on the day-to-day operations of the Affiliation and Membership portfolio of VVI.
The role will oversee the management of the Affiliation and Membership systems, processes and development of VVI and the wider Volleyball Community. This role will be the primary user and maintain the VVI revolutioniseSPORT membership database and management platform.
They will work with all VVI current clubs and coordinate affiliation and membership with new and renewing clubs. In addition, this role will provide VVI with a dedicated resource to create a more robust approach to inclusion, which covers but is not limited to reverse inclusion, disability, women in sport, LGBTIQ, First Nation people and the CALD Communities.
The person in this role must be proficient in operating in a small team, maximising the resources available. They must be able to effectively use the MS Suite of programs and be open to learning internal systems, including databases, online platforms, reporting processes and project management systems.
Experience with membership and database systems in sport is highly desirable.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
MEMBER SERVICES & SUPPORT
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the annual affiliation process, including integrating with Revolutionise Sport Membership Portal
- Assist Clubs with all required documentation for annual Affiliation Application.
- Onboarding new Affiliates on the VVI membership database system. Including initial and ongoing support and induction of the system.
- Provide regular communication and resources to affiliates to support their development and delivery of the sport locally
- Oversee all Insurance requirements of Members, Clubs and Associations.
- Manage all Affiliation and Membership records, including but not limited to applications, personal information and Working with Children Checks.
- Assist with and action member and affiliate enquiries; including telephone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Coordinate and implement the annual Affiliate Development Conference
- Provide regular and ad hoc membership lists, statistics, information and reports as required, including monthly reporting.
- Support member acquisition, retention and renewal campaigns, and related activities, including market research, as required
- Coordinate and present results of the annual member survey
- Contribute to and ensure compliance with membership management policies and processes and ensuring alignment with the National Integrity Framework
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including sponsors, suppliers, Local Government Authorities, and other volleyball, sporting, and interest groups
