Description

We are seeking experienced Lifeguards with a knack for problem solving and great customer service to join our team on a part-time or casual basis.

About us

Mingara Aquatics is located on the beautiful Central Coast, positioned around some of the state’s most pristine beaches. Our facilities feature an indoor heated Olympic pool, heated hydrotherapy, and leisure pools as well as progressive programs in Learn to Swim and Squad; Mingara Aquatics truly is a community space catering for fitness and leisure. Our experienced team of coaches, instructors and Lifeguards inspire our community to move better, feel better and live life greatly!

The role

As a Pool Lifeguard, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the member experience and keeping our destination safe. You will build great relationships with our members and provide supervision over the aquatics space, identifying and responding to potential risks in and around the water. This role will also see you managing water quality and plant room functions.

About you

You will be a team player, natural communicator and have a strong commitment to the safety and well-being of our local community.

In addition, you will meet the following criteria:

  • Pool Lifeguard licence, First Aid & CPR Certificates 
  • Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Extensive availability including school hours

Desirable

  • Previous lifeguard / SLSC experience

Our successful candidate is willing to requalify annually in all Lifeguard specific competencies and annually (paid for by us)!

The fine print

Flexible hours and days are required for this role. Shifts range from open (4:45am) to close (8pm). Only candidates with current Australian work rights will be considered.
