Broad objective

Roseville College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate swimming coach to join our team at our new state-of-the-art school pool. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering sessions focused on stroke correction and skills development for our junior pathways, while providing support and assistance to the Head of Swimming to ensure the success of the overall program.

Swimming Coaches may be required to work before, during and after school as well as on weekends. Experienced and suitably qualified swimming coaches are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • SCTA Membership; Minimum Development Coach accreditation as outlined by swimming Australia or equivalent.
  • Current NSW Working with Children Certificate.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Pool Lifeguard qualification desirable or willing to obtain.
  • Implementation of technical stroke correction and teaching proficiency within a structured swimming program from LTS to competitive squads.
  • Development and implementation of a holistic swimming program with swimmers of variable age and level.
  • Elite level experience as a swimming competitor highly desirable.
  • Actively supportive of the Christian mission and values of the College.
