Description

Since 1995, IENA’s American Summers Program has helped Aussies live and work at one of 800 Premier American Summer Camps. Spend 9 weeks (June - August) being a role model, camp leader to children 8 - 15.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Teach and share your skills, experience and passion with children aged 8 - 16 throughout the day for a 9 week camp placement (which includes a one week staff training program).
  • Skill Areas: All sports, climbing, dance, fitness, horse riding, lifeguarding, martial arts, swim teaching, waterskiing & many more water and outdoor skill areas. Over 200 activities you can teach: americansummers.com/camp-experience/camp-activities
  • You will also be a mentor and guide to the campers, eat meals with them, help with their daily living and getting them to sleep at night.
  • All succesful applicants need to be at least 18 by June 1 2025 and available to get themselves to the their camp in the USA to work between June - August 2025.

AMERICAN SUMMER CAMP JOB FAIR:

  • Dec 8 - 10 - Meet, interview with up to 12 American Summer camps and get hired on the spot.
