We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Venue Manager to oversee the daily operations of our venues, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee competitions at venues, ensuring facilities are set up to standard, safe, and welcoming.
Coordinate and supervise event-day operations, including referee/umpire and teams.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid preparedness.
Liaise with teams, clients, and stakeholders to address their needs and concerns.
Maintain and monitor venue equipment and supplies, arranging for repairs or replacements as needed.
Support administrative functions, including record-keeping and financial reporting.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all venue users.
Essential Requirements
Valid driver’s license.
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Attributes
Experience refereeing or officiating in multiple sports.
Proven ability to manage teams and foster a collaborative environment.
A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
