Work with the Sports Department to help deliver our Secondary School Sports Program for 2025 season through athletics coaching. Coaches should be available for Monday morning training (before school) in Sydney CBD, and for ten Wednesday afternoons/evenings during the season.
Who will the successful applicants be?
- You will bring specialist knowledge and experience as well as a passion and enthusiasm to coach and mentor in a school sport environment.
- You will hold coaching accreditation under the Australian Athletics coach education framework (or equivalent).
- You will have experience coaching a range of Track and Field events, ideally with youth athletes.
- You will welcome development of your coaching capability through obtaining further accreditation and/or through guidance from senior coaching staff.
- You will model the St Andrew’s Cathedral School values and behaviours and uphold the Independent Sporting Association Code of Conduct
- You must have a current Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- You will have Level 1 First Aid accreditation (HLTAID011) or be prepared to obtain this.
- Prior experience coaching in a school setting is an advantage, but not essential.
