About Us

Position Overview
As a Pool Lifeguard, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of all customers utilising our aquatic facilities. You will respond to emergencies, supervise activities, and maintain hygiene standards while providing excellent customer service.
- Respond to emergency situations remaining calm and professional.
- Supervise and support staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the pool facilities.
- Conduct regular checks on pool water quality in compliance with NSW Health guidelines.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic, with a strong focus on achieving safety and service excellence.
If you hold the following credentials and qualities, we’d love to hear from you:
- Pool Lifeguard Licence (RLSS).
- Pool Operations Certificate, desirable but not mandatory.
- First Aid Certificate and CPR.
- Valid Working With Children Check.
- Experience in supervising teams and managing diverse groups of people.
- Understanding of hygiene practices and general facility upkeep.
- A positive attitude and the ability to connect with the public.

- Package: $56,839 - $60,123 (full time equivalent) gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent part time position available from 8 hours per week. Opportunity for additional flex hours may arise to assist operational coverage. Candidates must be available as rostered over a 7-day spread at various Leisure Centres (including Sutherland, Caringbah and Engadine Centre locations). The proposed start date for successful candidates is anticipated from 28th April 2025.
