Description

This is a permanent, full time position working 38 hours per week as per a roster working to provide excellent customer services and maintain surveillance and safety of customers of Shoalhaven Swim, Sport & Fitness facilities.

Reporting directly to the Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre Coordinator, the main focus of the role is to provide exceptional customer service to members and the public utilising the facilities

The specific role you perform as a Leisure Attendant will be dependent on the qualifications you hold. Please refer to the Job Description under the Job Attachments for a comprehensive list of duties, responsibilities and skills required.

About You

To be successful in the position, you will have:

  • Current First Aid and/or CPR award
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check

Lifeguard

  • School Certificate
  • Current RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award
  • Current RLSSA Bronze Medallion

Learn to Swim

  • Current AustSwim Certificate - Teacher of Water Safety
  • Current AustSwim extension certificates enabling instruction of specialist areas is applicable

Aquatics Instructor

  • Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association Junior Squad and Assistant
  • AustSwim - Teacher of Water Safety

Fitness Instructor (Wet & Dry)

  • Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instructor)
  • Current accreditation with Fitness Australia or the ability to obtain within 3 months of commencement
  • Previous experience in the health and fitness industry

Gym Assistant

  • Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instructor)
