Description

The Senior Pathways Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving the development, growth, and success of VNSW's Pathways program. The role requires a focus on administration, operational excellence and strategic alignment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to administrative excellence and efficiency, ensuring all operational aspects are handled professionally, overseeing two key VNSW Portfolios in Pathways & Education.

The person in this role will be responsible for refining the VNSW Pathways Plan, maintaining relationships with key performance stakeholders, and ensuring consistent delivery and efficiency within each program. Performance outcomes will be aligned with event results and development, recognition, and retention goals for athletes and coaches.

The individual will manage all educational elements provided to the community, including coaching, refereeing, and athlete development, focusing on delivering a best-practice approach to holistic development. This ensures that Volleyball NSW contributes to the community by developing well-rounded individuals.

Experience in managing all stages of operations is essential, as the person in this role will be a key driver in increasing efficiencies and establishing best practice delivery. They will have a dynamic approach to managing multiple programs efficiently, including financial management. Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the development experience for athletes, coaches, and referees is crucial.

The person in this role will engage with Volleyball Australia, the Office of Sport, NSWIS, other sports, and key stakeholders, actively seeking advice, participating in workshops and educational opportunities, and sharing information to achieve the best outcomes for the Volleyball community.

Proficiency in leading and operating within a small team, contributing to the larger organisation, and maximising available resources to deliver agreed outcomes is critical. Experience with Volleyball or Beach Volleyball is highly recommended but not required for this role.
