Description
Life Saving Victoria’s Advanced First Aid course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be able to confidently take control of a first aid incident until professional assistance arrives. The course focus covers the signs, symptoms and treatment options for incidents including CPR, shock, bleeding, crush injuries, burns, fractures, sprains and strains, spinal injuries, breathing and heart conditions, diabetes, seizures, envenomation and childbirth.
Who Should Study This Course?
The course is ideal for those who are employed in large and diverse workplaces, or workplaces deemed as high risk. This included workplaces that have a range of occupational health and safety hazards such as forestry operations, kitchens, car and body panel workshops and medical research facilities.

- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID0014 Provide Advanced First Aid
Prerequisites:
- This course requires a reasonable level of physical fitness
- Candidates must be at least 16 in the calander year the complete the course
